An Eclipse Ladies Special

Last night was the highly anticipated Eclipse premiere in L.A and as expected it brought with it some interesting fashion.

Kristen Stewart wore a one sleeved Elie Saab Fall 2009 Couture dress. Her overall 'look' was one of my favourites, she took a risk, she was fresh and she worked that carpet with some confidence. She looked like a leading lady last night in my opinion. Was the fit of the dress great? No again it was too big in areas but that happens with almost all of Kristen's clothing given the girl is so petite.



Ashley Greene wore a bed sheet and the bed sheet was from the Alexis Mabille Fall 2009 Couture collection. Another don't from Ashley. Why is she swamping herself? Shes basically covering her whole self up with no shape. it would have been better if it was brought in at the waist before flowing. She went for Grecian and it just looked off. Her extensions and make up are flawless as per usual though......



Nikki Reed wore a feather dress from the Marchesa Fall 2010 Collection. Whilst i think Nikki looks good i think it's down to her hair and fantastic smile as opposed to the dress. It's just to 'Dancing on Ice' for me, too many feathers. May be if the shoulder pads were not feathers it could have worked? Or maybe it's the glitter and ice blue colour against her skin that gives it a skaters vibe. Shes lukewarm on the fashion stakes.



Elizabeth Reaser wore a dress from the Zuhair Murad Spring 2010 collection. I'm not even sure what to think. I like that she took a risk but i think she's trying to hard with the sexy looks these days. The overall look is too over the top, it has the illusion of her showing more skin than she is and the beading is too heavy. Probably one of my least favourite looks of the night.



Dakota Fanning wore a dress from the Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture line. Whilst i think she looks fantastic i feel we are constantly seeing the same look repeated over and over with Dakota. She always wears pale colours with her hair straight and the same make up look , there is never any diversity with Dakota and that is why this look ranks low on the fashion metre last night. Cute but nothing new and nothing exciting.



Anna Kendrick wore a Marchesa Resort 2011 dress to the Eclipse premiere. The look was overall lukewarm for me personally, whilst i like the dress i feel the shoes bring the look down. I'm not a fan of her strappy sandals and the pleats on the dress somewhat overwhelm her tiny frame. Having said that she does look beautiful and i love her loose updo.



Bryce Dallas Howard wore a Christian Dior Resort 2011 floorlength yellow dress to the premiere. I actually like this look and feel it was overall a very good look for Bryce. The yellow contrasts her red hair and I'm loving her gorgeous clutch and flawless make up. A good look overall.
