With the tragic death of Alexander McQueen and the presentation of the Fall 2010 line just weeks after his death there was talk on the future of the ‘McQueen brand’. With this collection Sarah Burton has proved she is in fact the person capable of continuing McQueen's legacy.
Dark romance and Victorian influences are evident within this resort collection, something which McQueen was heavily inspired by. Tailored bodies, lace and red ‘blood drenched’ chiffon create a collection worthy of the name McQueen.
Attached below are my personal favourites from the collection; i hope someone will dare to grace the red carpet in some of these pieces.
