Armani Privé Fall 2010 couture collection reminded me of the fifties old school Hollywood glamour. The collection featured lots of skirt/jacket combinations with some cashmere pieces also making their way to the runaway. Some jackets featured some stunning draping.
The best pieces arrived as the show reached a climax with some stunning mermaid dresses with amber and metallic hues making their way down the catwalk. Whilst the show lacked extravagance unlike Dior the pieces were timeless and classic. I expect some of the gowns attached to be presented on the red carpet in the future.
